KUCHING: Wellness Laboratories Centre (Wellness Lab) has opened its first branch in East Malaysia.

The Kuching branch is its ninth after Kepong (headquarters), Klang, Cheras, Melaka, Johor, Penang, Ipoh and Kedah.

“Kuching folk will have more choices when it comes to seeking medical treatments and tests and they will have a better opportunity of getting medical checkups done,” said Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) chairman Lo Khere Chiang before the official opening yesterday.

“Early detection of any sickness is important as the chance of recovery is high.”

He urged Wellness Lab to continue raising awareness on health. Wellness Lab is a private laboratory for medical practitioners and hospitals. Through its in-house Medisense Clinic, the company also offers medical services to the public.

Appointments can be made with doctors through the clinic.
