He said that using a four-wheel-drive vehicle was ideal for the pilot project.

“It’s just a proposal,” the UK trained cardiologist added.

Nevertheless, a feasibility study would be carried out, he said, adding that he had forwarded a working paper to the state health office.

“I will personally follow up on this every month. And if indeed the proposal materialises, it will be the first of such service here.”

Asked if screening of heart disease would be included, he said: “It is mainly for the prevention of diseases. It is crucial to keep reminding people the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.”

The proposal, he added, was among the programmes under the Nangka Constituency Key Result Areas (NCKRA), which is a roadmap to bring betterment to the electorates in Nangka where development will stem from tapping opportunities in Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE) and providing better education.
