SHAH ALAM: Police detained a 52-year-old man and seized 10,642 Eramin 5 pills after a raid on a house in Taman Muda, Ampang, near here on Sunday.
Selangor police deputy chief Datuk A Thaiveegan said 1,000 pills were found in a box neatly wrapped in wrapping paper and the rest were found hidden in a car and other parts of the house.
“We believe that the drugs were meant to be distributed for night clubs in Klang Valley,” he told reporters at Selangor Police Headquarters here yesterday.
Meanwhile, Thaiveegan said police had also arrested three men on Sept 30 in connection with house break ins and arson around Kajang, Cheras and Balakong.
He said the police detained the suspects in an apartment in Kajang, near here, and also
seized a motorcycle and weapons such as parang, knives, toy guns and tools used in the crimes.
