KUALA LUMPUR: Employees of the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism should double their effort to improve the quality of service towards achieving the objectives targeted by the government said its minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
“Intellectual capability, creativity and innovation are important for the overall improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of the service,” he said at the ministry 2010 excellence service awards presentation ceremony at the Putra World Trade Centre here last night.
He said the usage of education had to reach the grassroot level so as to produce knowelegeable consumers.
Besides that, enforcement and legal compliance monitoring activities under the ministry should be stepped up to ensure the message reached all sectors, he said. — Bernama
