SEREMBAN: Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin reminded the people yesterday to be grateful for the efforts of the government to improve their lots and not to be hoodwinked by the promise made by the opposition.
He said the government always cared for the people and had drawn up numerous programmes for their benefit.
“It’s not easy to be the government; the opposition is only good at making promises which they never have to fulfil,” he told about 10,000 people here after visiting the Ampangan market and surrounding areas.
He was accompanied by Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.
Muhyiddin also reminded the people of Ampangan not to make the same mistake made by the those who voted for the opposition in Selangor and several states in the last election. — Bernama
