KOTA KINABALU: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) president Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan will be officiating at the joint opening ceremony of the party’s Women and Youth Movement’s annual general meeting this Saturday.
According to the PBS Women movement information chief Datin Vicky Yee, the opening ceremony will be held at the KDCA Hongkod Koisaan hall at 2pm.
On the evening of the same day, Oct 29, the Women’s movement delegates will be also be attending a motivation seminar which will be held at the Marina Court hall, she said in a statement yesterday.
“PBS Women movement will have its congress proper on Oct 30. It will be held at Bundusan Place and is scheduled to commence at 8am,” Vicky added.
The movement’s chief, Datuk Jamilah Sulaiman will speak on important key issues, according to Vicky.
She added that this year’s AGM has seen very keen participation of the members with all the places being taken up.
There are also many members requesting to attend as observers than previous years, she said and disclosed that Datuk Flora has been tasked with organizing this year’s AGM.
