MIRI: Charles Baya has been elected Persatuan Berawan Sarawak (Penipong Melawan Sarawak) president for the 2011 to 2012 term.
During the association’s recent annual general meeting (AGM), Anthony Litus Jau was elected deputy president while Lina Tegang was secretary.
Other elected office-bearers are assistant secretary Lisabeth Amon, treasurer Councillor Garry Hassim Wan, and deputy treasurer Syida Abdullah@Payak Tuah.
Completing the committee are Julia Juwen, Catherine Awing Wan, Edward Laing, Jospeh Sanong, Francis Tuah, Marcus Abdon Ajang and Jaring.
Meanwhile, Winne Bulan and Loretta Madang were appointed auditors.
