TAMBUNAN: Villagers of Kampung Sunsoron have been living without electricity since November 29.

One of the villagers, Rabius Gandu, yesterday said that the Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) had yet to resolve the blackout.

“We have yet to receive a response from the SESB after I lodged a report with its office here in Tambunan on Nov 30 around8amand now we are living without electricity for four days and three nights.

“We lost the electricity connection since Nov 29 as trees and bamboos fell on the power pole next to our other neighbour’s house and it affected the electrical cables which distribute the power to our home.

“I have already gone to SESB office here in Tambunan twice to ask about the matter and called at the office four times.

“They told me that they would look into the matter but even until now they have yet to do anything,” he told thesundaypost yesterday.

Rabius said that as he was tired of waiting for the action or response from Tambunan SESB office, he had also contacted the SESB office in Kota Kinabalu five times including once yesterday.

“The same answer was given to him when he asked them to look into the problem,” he said, adding that he had no more choice but to turn to the newspaper for help in resolving the problem.

Rabius hoped that the SESB would response to their electricity needs.
