AeU sets up base in Miri to benefit learners

MIRI: Asia e-University (AeU) is setting its feet down here to benefit knowledge and qualification seekers by offering various academic and professional programmes through its innovative approach.

A free preview will be held on Dec 16-17 at 7.30pm and 10am respectively at AeU’s local information centre – Fajar International College main campus – at Jalan Pujut Lutong.

AeU is a flexible, international university set up in Asia under the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD). Its establishment is an initiative of Malaysia as the prime mover for e-education, with the support of 31 ACD member countries as confirmed at the Islamabad 2005 and Doha 2006 ACD Ministerial Meetings.

AeU also collaborates with institutions of higher learning and training centres in the 31 ACD member countries to offer academic and professional training programmes that are affordable, accessible and of quality.

The AeU courses structure is designed to run in both full-time and part-time modes to allow for flexibility for students who are working professional as well as new graduates.

Depending on the course chosen, a range of flexible study modes are they to be chosen from to facilitate the teaching and learning process.

AeU is committed to excellence in teaching and research within an Asian and international context.

All the programmes are taught by highly qualified lecturers, besides offering a wide range of programmes ranging from Foundation, Diploma to Doctoral programmes in an interesting variety of academic fields.

Meanwhile, its postgraduate programmes provide opportunities for advanced study and research towards the development of innovative responses to the challenges of the 21st century.

AeU’s entry requirements range from SPM to all other existing qualifications.

Its open entry system allows matured students without formal qualification to enter its program thus provide a ‘second chance’ for adult learners who missed early year education.
