TAWAU: Assistant Finance Minister Datuk Tawfiq Abu Bakar Titingan has strongly urged all members of Rukun Tetangga (neighbourhood committee) in Kampung Titingan here to carry out their responsibility with more efficiency.
Tawfiq said the members should always be alert of any incident that happened at their area and be willing to help the villagers in solving any problem.
He was speaking at the anniversary celebration of Rukun Tetangga at Hotel Emas here yesterday.
“Such anniversary celebration not only could tighten up the relationship between the members, but could also enhance their cooperation,” Tawfiq said.
He hoped the members could involve actively and provide the best services to the people.
