LABUAN: Two men were detained on Wednesday for possession of drugs before distributing them to their clients.
Labuan district police chief, Superintendant Saiman Kasran disclosed yesterday that the two suspects were detained around 2.30pm for possessing four small packets of plastic which contained white crystalline substance believed to be syabu.
“Police found the drug weighing 0.40 grams inside the car belonging to one of the suspects and they were suspected of distributing drugs on a small scale around the town area,” he said.
Saiman further said that the suspects have been detained for investigation under Sections 12 (2) and 15 (1) (a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
