Pullman’s The Peak offers unforgettable Valentine’s Day dinner

THE BEST FOR MY LOVE: Dine on char-red prime rack of lamb caramelised shallot, crumble pistachio, sweet potatoes and asparagus mimosa in rosemary jus at the ‘A Romantic Love Affair’ dinner amidst breathtaking views of the city at Pullman Kuching’s The Peak this Valentine’s Day.

KUCHING: Shower your loved ones with an unforgettable candlelight dinner this Valentine’s Day at Pullman Kuching’s The Peak, renowned for its sweeping breathtaking views of the city.

As you wine and dine amidst the stunning scenery, the Valentine’s Day candlelight dinner features a combination of delectable western dinner set and semi-buffet concept, which promises to be a treat for the couple.

Start off the romantic dinner with the buffet’s selection of amuse bouche and appetiser comprising chilled green pea’s soup, thin slice beef ‘Tataki’ in Goma Antari, slow-poach black Atlantic cod fish with citrus and onion relish, hot plate sear rock lobster with prawn bisque jelly in champagne flute and fresh water prawns skewer served flavoured with espresso coffee sauce just to name a few.

In the lead up to the main course, an A ‘la Minute Valent’s strawberry soup with twister crouton will be served to open up the palate before diners are served with their mains of either the char-red prime rack of lamb caramelised shallot, crumble pistachio, sweet potatoes and asparagus mimosa in rosemary jus or roast stuffed salmon fillet with Hong Kong kailan, brown onion, vegetables timbale with wasabi butter foam and topped with lemon salmon roe.

A luscious dessert spread is also up for the taking for a deliciously sweet ending to this romantic dinner.

Diners can sample mango fools, lychee berries, red mille feuille, chocolate emulsion, passionate verrines, strawberry short cake, petit of French pastries, lime and aloe vera verrines, strawberry miniature fruit tarts, chocolate budino with vanilla and butterscotch sauce, special coloured macaroon, assorted of chocolate pralines and lovely fresh fruit cuts.

Priced at RM168++ per person, the ‘A Romantic Love Affair’ dinner will be served on February 14 from 7pm onwards.

Couples dining at The Peak will also receive a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, a stalk of rose for the ladies and a chocolate surprise.

Advanced reservations are required as seats are limited.

Meanwhile, Pullman Kuching is also offering guests an opportunity to experience mouth-watering cuisine at its finest at Puzzle, which will be having ‘A Celebration of Love’, Valentine’s Day buffet dinner on the same day, priced at RM88++ per adult and RM39 per child from 6pm to 10pm.

Those still revelling in the merriment of Chinese New Year can pop by Nu Er Hong, which will be offering a Valentine’s Day Chinese Set Menu priced at RM888++ per table of 10 persons.

Guests dining at any of the hotel’s F&B outlets on Valentine’s Day can adjourn to Deja Vu, the lobby lounge bar and be entertained by resident band, Sweet Notes, while enjoying a 20 per cent discount on all house pouring beverages all night long.
