Japanese class at UCSI to commence mid Feb

KUCHING: The Japanese language class at UCSI University is now open for enrolment.
The new elementary class to commence in mid February will be conducted twice a week.
The class is open to members of the public and will be held at the university at Jalan Tun Jugah every Tuesday and Thursday from 6.30pm and 8.30pm.
Lessons will run for three months and a certificate of attendance will be given to students once they have fully completed the course.
Targeting at those keen to learn Japanese language, emphasis is given towards teaching them to be conversant in the language.
Conducted by UCSI Extension Sdn Bhd, the class is taught by a trained lecturer and lessons include teaching the students to write in katakana and hiragana.
Class size is kept small with 15 to 20 students per class to allow better interaction between the lecturer and students.

Besides this elementary class, UCSI Extension is also offering the Japanese class at intermediate level and this class is for students who had completed their elementary level.
Apart from Japanese language class, UCSI Extension is also offering Korean and English classes.
