Special treats for Valentine’s Day at Four Points by Sheraton

CELEBRATION OF LOVE: Couples can enjoy a romantic setting for the Valentine’s Day buffet dinner.

KUCHING: Four Points by Sheraton Kuching’s culinary team has concocted special treats for couples and loved ones to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

The hotel’s hugely popular buffet will take an even more indulgent twist on Feb 14 with a special spread at The Eatery, one of Asia’s Top 10 Most Chic All Day Dining Restaurants (Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards 2011-2013 Regional Series).

There will be salmon on toast with dill mayo dressing, chilled green pea soup shooters, lobster bisque with seafood, salmon teppanyaki, whole roast lamb, saffron seafood risotto, and spaghetti with duo wild forest mushrooms.

Other seafood delights include whole smoked salmon with traditional condiments, Valentine’s seafood terrine, chilled fresh water crabs, half shelled scallops, poached prawns, green shell mussels and oysters served on ice.

The pizza and pasta corner will serve pizza Valentine supreme, Valentine’s heart-shaped pizza and heart to heart pie.

Sweet temptations include strawberry love cheese cake, banana creme brulee, heart to heart macaroon and other Valentine-themed dessert treats.

Asian and Western delights will also be served up at The Eatery’s eight open-concept kitchens.

Couples will receive one stalk of rose and a serving of mocktail per person.

The special Valentine’s buffet is priced at RM88 per person (excluding tax and service charge), while children below 12 enjoy a 50 per cent discount.

Meanwhile, at the Wrapped Deli, patrons can order the strawberry love cheese cake for takeaway, priced at RM68 per kg, from Feb 7-14. A one-day advanced booking is required.

Takeaways are subject to 6 per cent government tax.
