KULIM: Police found the bodies of two men, believed to be criminals, lying in pools of blood from being shot in Jalan Bukit Lada, Lunas, near here yesterday.
A police spokesman said the men were believed to have been shot while they were on a motorcycle in the area at around 6.30pm. He said the two were locals, one aged 25 and the other 40, and were believed to be drug dealers who used school children to distribute drugs.
The 40-year-old had a previous record for drug trafficking and was recently released from the Simpang Renggam Detention Centre in Johor, he said.
“The bodies of the victims were sent to the Kulim Hospital. The 35-year-old man had two gunshot wounds while the other, a single gunshot wound,” he told Bernama.
He said the duo had once worked as car repossesors here and that police were intensifying investigations to track down the murders. — Bernama
