SIBU: The family of a man who failed to return home since October last year is appealing to him to return.
His Indonesian wife, Yeni Susali, lodged a police report on Saturday.
Yeni from Tiong Hua Road told police she last saw her 36-year-old mechanic husband, Chiu Woei Ming, on January this year when she chanced on him in Laichee Lane.
“He turned away upon seeing me,” she said, adding she believes he is still in Sibu.
She said his mobile phone rang every time she called, but her calls were never answered.
They have two sons from four years of marriage.
Yeni told police her two sons miss their father very much and hope he would return home very soon.
She said her family was facing financial difficulties and she is also taking care of her aged mother-in-law.
