Burglar drops wallet during break-in

MIRI: The police here nabbed two suspects late Friday evening for alleged involvement in a house break-in after finding one of the suspects’ wallet at the crime scene.

The duo, in their early 20’s, were picked up by the police in a house in Piasau Utara at about 6pm yesterday.

Both suspects were brought to the Miri Central Police Station to assist the police further in their investigation.

The duo were alleged to have broken into a house two weeks ago and one of the suspects was believed to have dropped his wallet during the burglary.

The police managed to track down the suspect via his identification card found in the wallet.
