KUCHING: Sarawak reignites their Super League challenge with a well-deserved 2-1 win over Felda United FC at Stadium Negeri in front of some 12,000 fans last night.

The Crocs trooped into the field with all guns blazing but it was the visitors who drew first blood with Mohd Firdaus firing a shot from just outside the six yard box that rocked the homester’s net in the 39th minute.

Newly recruited striker Vedran Muratovich missed a handful of chances as he was unable to connect the many crosses that came his way.

However, the Croatian made amend in the dying seconds of the first half when he scored after a superb solo run to restore parity.

Sarawak’s remarkable fight-back was rewarded with a goal  in the 86th minute of play.

Local boy Ashri Chuchu netted the winner that made the fans erupted with jubilations as the Crocs was not to be denied the full points last night.

This was the Croc’s second win of the 2012 campaign after a string of draws and losses.

The Crocs next match will be against club side Johor FC.
