SMK Agama Igan’s jogarthon successfully held

SIBU: Some 400 students took part in SMK Agama Igan’s  joggerthon on Saturday to raise funds for its Parent-Teacher Association (PTA).

Jemoreng assemblyman Abu Seman Jahwie, who flagged off the run, also made an MRP contribution of RM2,000.

“Among the objectives of the jogathon is for the PTA to raise funds to finance its various programmes for the development and welfare of the students.”

Abu Seman, who is also political secretary to the Chief Minister, said it would also be used to enhance the use of ICT and overall learning environment in the school.

Towards this end, the assemblyman advised the students to continue studying hard and excel in public examinations.

Among those present were PTA chairman Ismail Abdullah and principal Noriah Harun.
