BESUT: A store-keeper at an electrical company was killed when she was hit by a car which skidded and went out of control at a traffic light intersection at Kampung Raja near here yesterday.
Shamsinar Suria Ramia, 27, of Kampung Raja, died on the spot due to serious head and body injuries.
Deputy Besut district police chief DSP Noor Zainy Mohd Noor said the victim was on her motorcycle waiting for the traffic light to turn green when a Proton Wira, believed to have jumped the red light, rammed into an oncoming Toyota RAV4.
The impact caused the driver of the Toyota car to lost control of the wheel and crashed into the victim. — Bernama
