KUCHING: Sarawak Radio Television Malaysia’s (RTM) 2012 Marketing Expo Tour (JEP) will be held at numerous locations in the state to promote its radio stations and TVi.
State Broadcasting director Abdul Jailani Mahmud said RTM, in cooperation with the Sarawak Bumiputra Entreprenuers Cooperative Berhad, local leaders and people’s representatives, would organise programmes in Bintulu (March 23-25), Bekenu near Miri (March 30-April 1) and Lawas (May 25-27) for the purpose.
“I am confident our target, through the listener-friendly concept and informing entreprenuers of our advertising rates and spaces, will be achieved,” he told Bernama, here, Sunday.
He said the expo had been held in Roban from March 1-4 which received 20,000 visitors, Simunjan from Feb 24-26 (15,000 visitors) and Sarikei from Jan 27-29 (12,000).
Other than holding outside promotions including to Samarahan, Kanowit and Sri Aman, he said the JEP would also be held at Ramadhan Bazaars and the Sarawak Regatta. –Bernama
