SIBU: Police yesterday arrested an enraged 27-year-old man for throwing a knife at his sister after he accused their younger brother of sexually harassing his wife.
On Saturday night, the man had gone to his mother’s house in Permai to look for his brother whom he suspected of molesting his wife.
A quarrel ensued which lasted till dawn the next day.
The angry man then took a knife and returned to the house at 6am.
When his sister appeared, he threw the knife at her.
However, the knife did not hit her, and she quickly ran inside the house, informing other family members of the incident.
The sister, her younger brother and mother locked themselves inside a room before calling the police.
The police arrived and arrested the man. A police report has been lodged.
