Additionally, the truck offered 23 innovative storage spaces to complement its spacious interior cabin, serving various needs and applications for a comfortable long distance drive.

With stylish rail guards, rain and speed sensing windshield wipers and hill launch assist, the pickup offered a locking rear differential, rugged front bumper, limited slip differential, adaptive load control (Wildtrak variants only) and a lockable tail gate to effectively conquer off-road terrains.

The interior was certainly plush with a wide array of features that made it akin to that of a luxury sedan: a sporty leather and fabric combination motif, dual zone electronic climate control with voice activation, cruise control, integrated control panel, reverse camera with mirror display and Bluetooth with voice control.

In addition to a disc playback system and radio, the sound system connectivity options offered comprehensive interface options with contemporary devices such as iPods, mobile smart phones and USB peripherals through six high output speakers.

In terms of safety, the truck had the distinguished honour of being the first mid-size pickup to receive a five-star European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP) rating, with an ultra rigid safety cell, crash crumple zone and up to four safety airbags to protect its occupants.

Teo revealed that while the new pickup trucks were slated for official launching at the Hills Shopping Mall on April 4, they were open for bookings now. Official pricings would be announced on the same day.
