KUCHING: Advertising with See Hua Group newspapers — The Borneo Post, Utusan Borneo and See Hua Daily — will be more effective with the launch of their online classified section yesterday.

See Hua Marketing Sdn Bhd assistant marketing manager Low Kim Foong said the online version of advertisements placed in the three newspapers would give wider coverage and effectiveness for their advertisers.

“It’s a value-added service to our advertisers,” he said, adding that the PDF versions of the pages were uploaded daily and would be available for eight days.

The section was launched yesterday at the Borneo Post Online office here.

Borneo Post Online head Dorge Rajah said the classified section was accessible for free and could be viewed on a web browser both on the computer and on mobile devices.

“We expect the classified section to reach a wider audience. It will benefit advertisers in getting their message across, and benefit those who already use our online versions as they get almost instant access to advertisements while they on the go.

“We expect advertising in our papers to grow with this new feature,” he said

The classified section is accessible at http://c.theborneopost.com for The Borneo Post and http://c.theborneopost.com/utusan-borneo for Utusan Borneo. These links also appear on the right column of Borneo Post Online.

Also present at the launch were See Hua Marketing sales manager Yeo Soon Haw and assistant sales manager Elizabeth Khoo.
