This is not only the opinion shared by one race but others as well. It is also a known fact that the native community has since 5years ago seek greener pastures outside Sarawak, look a the count of those living in Johor. Many agreed that it's the country's current system that's driving people away. But look at our blind politicians. All they see is they think they're doing a good job, try to convince the public in the next election, then they realise their mistake. The local people cannot even respect the police force whom are supposed to protect its fellow country man, what more the politicians that were choose to create a better country for its people. Sad fact!

If the Chinese community is not treated fairly in Malaysia as a resident, given the chance to migrate, they will gladly leave for greener pastures elsewhere. One reason could be non participation in the 2010 census. In my street, I was told by one enumerator that half the street had not taken part in the census. Almost 90% of residents in my street are Chinese. The enumerator went on to say that the residents didnt respond to numerous calls at the homes despite the suspicion that they were at home. Could it be that the residents were afraid that their income status would be found out and that they would be found out by Hasil Dalam Negeri?

So the Chinese population declined between 2005 and 2010.
