Nissan Murano
KUCHING: Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM) has launched the fully imported all-new Nissan Elgrand, a seven-seater premium multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) and the improved Nissan Murano, a premium sports utility vehicle (SUV).
In a press statement, ETCM said that the sleek design of both Nissan top models is definitely reaching out to the niche who wants to make a statement of true luxury lifestyle. With the new line-ups, ETCM will bring new levels of performance, refinement and ownership experience to the luxury segment.
Dynamism and luxury are well expressed in the brand new Elgrand with the low and wide body proportions emphasise the MPV’s stability, with the dynamic lines flowing from the front and leading all the way down the sides, highlighting its majestic profile.
The front and second row passengers will be pampered by the ultimate comfort of Elgrand’s signature feature – ‘Captain Seats’ – which incorporate three new technologies seat cushion-integrated leg rest, articulated seatback and three-layered cushion pads.
Nissan Elgrand
The Elgrand has a sedan-like drivability and stability thanks to its highly engineered all-new-platform, giving it a low centre of gravity to provide a complete control and comfortable ride. The premium MPV uses a 3.5-liter V6 engine that has a maximum power output of 280PS at 6400rpm and maximum torque of 344Nm at 4400rpm.
The award-winning Nissan Murano premium SUV continues to be the category benchmark for styling, performance and value. The Murano is one of the most distinctively styled vehicles in its class – both inside and out.
Among the refinement surprises are a refreshed bold grille and a redesigned front bumper complete with a beautiful 5-Y spoke 18-inch alloy wheels. The rear is enhanced with newly designed sleek bright LED taillights together with integrated dual exhaust outlets to create a distinctive bold athletic stance.
The Murano features a familiar 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces a maximum power of 260PS at 6,000rpm with a maximum torque of 336Nm at 4,400rpm and is coupled with an advanced Xtronic CVT transmission with an intelligent all-wheel drive system.
Both Elgrand and Murano are fully imported from Japan and retails from RM384,863.20 and RM318,882.50 respectively excluding road tax, insurance and registration related charges.
Both vehicles are supported by a three-year or 100,000km warranty whichever comes first.
