KUALA LUMPUR: The public will be provided several telescopes to watch the partial lunar eclipse at National Planetarium here on June 4.

The National Space Agency (Angkasa) said on its website that the public can watch the lunar eclipse from 8pm to 10 pm. Entrance is free.

Partial lunar eclipse occurs during full moon as the moon passes the earth’s shadow.” In addition to the phenomenon, the public can also watch Mars and Saturn if the weather permits.

Masjid Negara will hold ‘sunat’ prayers and a special sermon to mark the partial lunar eclipse.
