SOTX badminton racquets await lucky contestant

SIBU: A collection of top badminton racquets worth RM1,500 awaits the contestant who makes the right guess of the top four winners of the ‘SBA (Sibu Badminton Association) Challenge Cup 2012’ championship.
“Should none make the correct guess, then the one coming nearest to it would take home the SOTX racquets sponsored by TN Sports. There are 10 consolation prizes of RM50 cash vouchers each,” SBA secretary Thomas Tieng told The Borneo Post yesterday.
TN Sports manager Ng Fen Hung said only those who purchased products at TN Sports of RM50 in a single receipt on June 13-18 are eligible to take part in the contest. Prizes will be presented on June 24 at 7pm at TN Sports Centre here.
Meanwhile, 10 teams have confirmed their participation in the championship namely Hock Kwong, Tyrelink Wheel, Pro-Wira, Paris Bridal, PSKPP, SA, G.O.F, M.U.C, KEN and Delta Cafe.
The competition starts on June 19 at TN Sports Centre while the closing ceremony on June 24 will be graced by SBA president Datuk Lau Cheng Kiong.
Also at yesterday’s press conference were SBA treasurer Yong King Sung and umpire Philip Kong.
