Riam school’s Leo Club wins eight awards at forum

MIRI: The Leo Club of Riam Road Secondary School (RRSS) bagged several awards at the 10th inter-Leo Clubs competition for schools in Sabah, Sarawak, Labuan, and Brunei (District 308-A2) which was held in Keningau, Sabah from June 5 to 7.

At the forum, the club won eight awards that were given out by District 308-A2 District Governor Lion Dr Tan Tsu Kun.

The awards were for the Top Club Award; Top President Award (Leo Stacey Beh Saw Chen); Top Secretary Award (Leo Antonia Yeo); Top Treasurer Award (Leo Angeline Kong); Outstanding Leo Garden Award; Leo Club Planning Award; Special Achievement Award for Public Relations and Special Media Award; and first place in a Talent Contest.

This sweep of awards has made RRSS CEO Dato Dr Fong Onn Min, assistant CEO Chan Siew Ngo, principal Richard Liu, and club advisor Diana Yeoh Ban Kheng very proud of the club’s achievements.
