Maybank IB lists eight new call warrants

KUALA LUMPUR: Maybank Investment Bank Bhd (Maybank IB) is listing eight new European style cash-settled structured warrants over ordinary shares, comprising four warrants for Gas Malaysia Bhd (GASMSIA), and one each for AirAsia Bhd, Malaysia Airline System Bhd (MAS), Media Chinese International Ltd and SapuraKencana Petroleum Bhd respectively.
The warrants would be listed on Bursa Malaysia with an issue size of RM100 million each, with price of 15 sen and would have a tenure of 12 months, Maybank IB said in a statement yesterday.
Gas Malaysia’s four warrants would have tenures of eight, 10, 12 and 15 months.
Maybank IB said AirAsia and MAS’ warrants have a gearing of 4.80 times and 3.63 times and an exercise ratio of five and two, respectively, while SapuraKencana’s warrant a gearing of 4.87 times with an exercise ratio of three warrants for every share.
Gas Malaysia’s warrants would have an exercise ratio of three warrants to every share and a variety of exercise prices at RM2.42, RM2.67, RM2.92 and RM3.15.
Media Chinese’s warrant has a gearing of 3.87 times and exercise ratio of two warrants for every share, Maybank IB said. — Bernama
