1Malaysia Squad Facebook page launched

PUTRAJAYA: The social website 1Malaysia Squad was launched yesterday as a medium for interaction between members of the squad and the National Anti-Drugs Agency (AADK).
Home Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Abdul Rahim Mohd Radzi said the launch of the website was also in conjunction with the International Anti-Drugs Day which is celebrated on June 24.
“The social website will channel various information on public awareness, drug prevention, treatment and rehabilitation as well as detection and monitoring,” he said when launching the website on the SKUAD 1Malaysia social facebook, here yesterday.
SKUAD 1Malaysia comprises AADK volunteers including the Dadah Treatment and Rehabilitation Committee, Rakan Antidadah, Anti-Drug Council and the ‘Persatuan Pembimbing Rakan Sebaya’.
As of last March, it had a total membership of 252,128, and of this total, 85,876 are between the ages of 18 and 25. — Bernama
