MIRI: The open interviews for school leavers organised by Ramunia Sdn Bhd in collaboration with Miri Malay Association (PMM) yesterday received encouraging response from youths here.

The session held at Pustaka Miri was aimed at helping and guiding students in pursuing their education at higher learning institutions.

According to a spokesperson for the event, students coming for the interview were helped to identify the right higher learning institution to enrol in, based on their qualification.

All the higher learning institutions recommended are registered with the Malaysia Higher Learning Ministry and certified by the Malaysian Quality Agency (MQA).

Yesterday’s interviews and briefing were for certificate, diploma and degree intake in Engineering (mechanical, civil, electrical, electronic), Nursing, Business Management as well as Academy of Architecture and Visual Arts.

Successful applicants will be funded through various study loans from National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN), Al Falah Education Fund (Bank Rakyat) and Al Ikhlas Loan Scheme (Agro Bank).
