Masterskill University College offering five-year medicine, surgery courses

KUALA LUMPUR: Masterskill University College of Health Science (Masterskill) is offering bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery (MBBS) courses, a five-year programme that produces graduates who can serve as doctors.

The MBBS course consists of a two and a half year study in Masterskill’s Seri Alam Campus in Johor Bahru and another two and a half years at Chettinad Health City in India.

Those studying at Masterskill can be assured that the experienced lecturers there are of the best calibre and its full-time lecturers ensure that the teaching process is done with full commitment without any preoccupation with other clinical duties.

Masterskill’s Seri Alam campus is a dedicated campus specifically for MBBS as the MBBS method of learning is completely different from other degree programmes.

After the first half of the MBBS course is completed, students will then be transferred to Chettinad Hospital, the ideal place to complete their learning and to receive in-depth clinical knowledge and skills.

Masterskill students will also have the opportunity to be trained in local hospitals even before going to Chettinad Hospital namely Hospital Pakar Sultanah Fatimah, Hospital Kota Tinggi and Hospital Kulai in Johor.

Masterskill’s MBBS programme is offered at approximately RM300,000 for the entire course that includes exam fees, lab fees, library fees, computer fees and more importantly, the fees also include hostel and transportation both in Malaysia and Chettinad.
