SARIKEI: The Sarawak Government Services Welfare Recreational Council (Maksak) Sarikei Division in collaboration with the local football association is organising a 9-a-side Veteran Maksak Cup 2012 competition on July 14-15 here.
The objective of the competition is to select players to represent the Division at the state-level tournament to be held later this year.
“The two-day competition is open to teams from all government departments and statutory bodies in the Division,” informed organising secretary Ramli Ah Nee.
“Each team is required to register 15 players aged 40-years and above or born before July 14, 1972. Those interested are requested to register their teams by July 9. Entry fee is RM200 per team,” added Ramli.
