Entry to Maksak Cup 2012 still open

SARIKEI: Interested teams who wish to participate in the 9-a-side Veteran Maksak Cup 2012 football competition organised by Sarawak Government Services Welfare Recreational Council (Maksak) Sarikei Division are reminded to register early.
The two-day competition is open to teams from all government departments and statutory bodies in the Division.
“The deadline for registration has been fixed on July 9 with registration fee set at RM200 per team. Each team is required to register 15 players aged 40 years and above or born before July 14, 1972,” said organising secretary Ramli Ah Nee.
The objective of the competition to be held at the Sports Complex pitch here, is to select players to represent the Division at the state-level tournament to be held later this year.
