Puspakom allocates RM1.2m for PMI service nationwide

ALOR GAJAH: The Computerised Vehicle Inspection Centre (Puspakom) has allocated RM1.2 million for its Premier Mobile Inspection (PMI) service nationwide.
Its operations chief, Ooi Win Juat said the service offered mobile computerised inspection at selected locations but it was limited to light vehicles.
“Customers are no longer need to queue at Puspakom branches but just need to call us for the service,” he told reporters when introducing the van for the service in Melaka, here yesterday.
Ooi said nine vans such vans were in operation since the service was introduced in 2008, with six of them in Klang Valley and one each in Penang, Johor Bahru and Melaka. — Bernama
