Limbang League FA Cup final this Sunday

LIMBANG: The highly rated football teams of ABC, SESCO, Tiger and Awat-Awat lived-up to their top billings to qualify to the semi-finals of the Limbang League 2012.

The final is set to be held this coming Sunday at Limbang stadium.

Limbang League manager, Alidin@ Brahim Tawar said ABC FC will take on SESCO FC while Tiger FC faces Awat-Awat in the last four.

“The respective prizes of the Limbang football tournaments would be presented after the FA Cup Finals, including the Super League, Premier League, Charity Shield and Fair Play by league patron, Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail who is also Limbang Football Association chairman,” informed Alidin.

Tiger FC successfully defended their title to emerge Super League champion collecting 17 points this season to push ABC FC to second with 15 points while Centrel FC was at third place with 14 points.

Putera FC is the Premier League champion with 17 points, edging Gabungan Awat-Awat and Landas to second and third placing respectively.

ABC FC won the charity shield.

“We are calling on the respective winners to turn up to receive their prizes this Sunday after the FA Cup final,” said Alidin.
