Malaysia drop to 157 in FIFA ranking

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s world football ranking continues to tumble, dropping three rungs from 154 last month to 157.

The latest ranking issued by International Football Federation (FIFA) means that Malaysia have recorded the lowest ranking this year.

Malaysia were ranked 148 in January, 150 in February, 152 in March, 156 in April, 153 in May and 154 in June.

The latest ranking put Malaysia on par with Cuba (150), Bangladesh (151), Palestine (154) and Faroe Islands (155), countries that lack football fields and sports equipment. –Bernama
