RTM working to improve reception

MACHANG: Radio and Televisyen Malaysia’s (RTM) expects to resolve the poor reception being experienced in several areas nationwide by the end of the 10th Malaysia Plan.

Information Communication and Culture Ministry deputy secretary-general Datuk Dr Rothiah Omar said the ministry was working to enhance the reception through a digital system expected to be completed by that time. Responding to complaints by Kelantanese, she said “We admit, many areas don’t have good RTM reception as the transmitter is blocked.” — Bernama
