MIRI: The Miss Global International Malaysia (MGIM) 2012 Pageant Week starts on a busy schedule today until the Grand Finale here on July 21.
Fourteen finalists from places including Miri, Sibu, Kota Kinabalu (KK), Penang, Kuala Lumpur (KL), Kota Bahru and Melaka will arrive for ‘Miss Photogenic Frozen In Time’ shooting at Eastwood Frozen in Time Studio, and be treated to a welcoming dinner at Mr Ho’s Fine Food Restaurant for Miss Personality here.
They will pay a tourism and charity visit to Bintulu at New World Suite Hotel the next day (July 12).
Upon their return to Miri the next day (July 13), there will be dinner and Club Celebrities Preview Show for Miss Celebrities at Imperial Palace Hotel. On July 14, the beauties will tee off with golf finalists at Eastwood Valley Golf and Country Club (Eastwood) at 7.30am, and perhaps tour Miri on super bikes in the afternoon, before tucking into dinner at a Beach Republic Preview Show for Miss Beach Republic.
The whole Sunday (July 15) will be spent on a longhouse cultural trip by Great Leap Tours Miri, before proceeding to dinner at a Green Summit Special Launching Event for Miss Green Summit.
They will start on July 16 with lunch in Boulevard Restaurant before going on Miri City Tourism Visit to places like Old Folks’ Home, San Ching Tien Taoist Temple and Miri Autistic Society, ending with dinner at Lao Yang Restaurant.

On July 17 morning, they will make charity visits for Miss Charity to Miri Hospital Children’s Ward, adjourning for lunch at Sun City Food Court, before going up Canada Hill for tour of the Grand Old Lady and Petronas Petroleum Museum, joining Miri Hash House Harriers Association for jungle trekking in a special event for Miss Sporty HHH, and letting hair down at a dinner party at Hazard Bistro.
July 18 will start with lunch at 72 bian (TBC), and dinner at the Al Fresco, with a Balcony Preview Show at Balcony for Miss Body Beautiful Balcony.
There will be a beauty workshop the whole morning of July 19 at Meritz Hotel, with Bintang Megamall Talent Night at Bintang Megamall for Miss Bintang Megamall, and to select top five Best in Talent for Miss Talent.
The MGIM Pre-Judging starts July 20 morning at Eastwood, and lunch with VIPs and celebrities.
Other subtitles included Miss Beautiful Skin Magic Beauty, Miss Facebook Favourite, Miss Popularity and Miss Crowning Glory Lavish.
The MGIM Grand Finale 2012 to crown top three winners starts 6pm at Eastwood on July 21, with late night celebration party at Club Infinity in Boulevard Commercial Centre.
MGIM 2012 will wrap up with a special noon interview session for the Press and bloggers at Ajisen Ramen in Boulevard Commercial Centre on July 22.
