KUCHING: SMK Kuching High will be holding their 41st Annual Sports Day meet starting today at the Jubilee Ground here.
Over 500 athletes will take part in the two-day event.
“The main objective of holding this sports day is to identify sports talents from our school. We want excellent athletes to represent the school,”said Chew Kui Hock the Asisstant Principal of the school.
Chew added that the school aimed to produce good athletes as well as students who excel well academically.
Kuching Teochew Association Chairman Kapitan Tan Kit Leng is expected to officiate at the opening ceremony today.
