Three locals acquitted in separate abuse cases

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Three local men have been acquitted of allegations of physical abuse in three separate hearings. Shamsulrizal bin Mohd Ibrahim, 27, was acquitted of the charge of voluntarily causing hurt to a 31-year-old woman by punching her multiple times on the back of her head at Kg Perpindahan Rimba on October 24, 2010, reports Borneo Bulletin.

Mohd Addyherman bin Tarip, 29, was acquitted of two counts of voluntarily causing physical abuse to another person by hitting the complainant all over the body and on the right eye.

Suhaimi bin Hj Abdullah, 44, was acquitted of voluntarily causing harm by kicking the head of a 53-year-old woman at OKBI, Berakas on August 12, 2011. Deputy Public Prosecutor, Siti Nurjauinah Hj Kula prosecuted the cases.
