MIRI: Every personnel regardless of their positions in the department should give their best at all times.
Sibuti MP Ahmad Lai Bujang said this was to safeguard the good reputation of their department from time to time.
“Do not take anything for granted when discharging the assigned tasks,” he advised during the Family Day celebration of the Land and Survey Department (Landas) at Luak Esplanade here yesterday.
Also present at the event were Miri Landas Club chairman Unus Tambi.
Ahmad Lai said the responsibility of executing each assigned task to be as perfect as possible was part of the trust given by the superior.
“By doing so, the relationship between subordinates and their superiors can be strengthened,” he added.
An excellent organisation or department needs the cooperation and good relationship among each of the personnel regardless of their position to do well.
At the same time, he complimented Miri Land and Survery Department for their recent achievement in recognition of their services.
At the family day, about 200 Landas Club members including their families participated in the event. Various activities were held including sports and telematches.
Ahmad Lai also presented a minor rural project (MRP) grant to the club to finance their yearly event.
