PETALING JAYA: Two friends pleaded not guilty at the Sessions Court here today to robbing a project manager in Puchong on July 5.
Lorry attendant Muhammad Alif Zainuddin, 21, J.Rueben Jeyanath, 18, a student from Sunway and two others still at large were charged with robbing the woman of her car, RM250 in cash, a mobile phone and laptop.
They allegedly committed the gang robbery in front of a house in Bandar Puchong Jaya, Selangor and face up to 20 years in prison and caning, upon conviction under the Penal Code.
Judge Balqis Aini Mohd Ali allowed bail at RM4,000 with one surety each and fixed August 28 for mention.
