Former Sime Darby President, CEO pleads not guilty to RM100 Million CBT

KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Berhad ‘s former president and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Zubair Murshid pleaded not guilty at the Sessions Court here Tuesday, to two counts of criminal breach of trust (CBT) amounting to more than RM100 million in a customary land development project in Sarawak.
He also pleaded not guilty to two alternative charges of deceiving the company’s board of directors on the same project.
Judge Datuk Jagit Singh Bant Singh set bail at RM200,000 with one surety. — BERNAMA
