PETALING JAYA: Twenty foreign women believed to be involved in vice were detained in two operations codenamed ‘Ops Noda’ at two massage parlors in Puchong Jaya on Monday night.

In the 11pm operations conducted by D7 Gambling, Secret Societies and Vice division personnel from the Serdang police headquarters led by Inspector Roslin Mohd Isak and Puchong Jaya police station led by Inspector Hailmi Zil Azam Nordindi, two local caretakers and 12 local men who were patronising the premises were also detained.

Roslin said the women aged between 20 and 30 comprised eight Vietnamese, four Chinese and 10 Thais.

“The operations were based on public information and police surveillance since early this month. All the women were in a room and were believed to have been waiting for customers,” he told reporters. — Bernama
