Man gets three months’ jail for injuring another with sickle

SIBU: A 27-year-old man who injured another man with a dangerous weapon was yesterday ordered by the magistrate’s court here to be jailed for three months.

Kusnadi pleaded guilty to a charge filed under Section 324 of the Penal Code, which provides for a jail term of not more than three years and a possible fine or whipping.

He injured Peter Chai with a sickle on July 14 at 5.40am at an oil palm plantation camp in Belaga.

Chai was injured on his back, left side of his head and left arm.
