Prime Minister’s Office announces working hours during Ramadan

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN:  With the consent of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Prime Minister’s Office has announced the working hours for government ministries and departments throughout the month of Ramadhan 1433 Hijrah, Borneo Bulletin reported.

For Monday until Thursday and Saturday, the working hours will be from 8am until 2pm. For daily-paid workers, the working period is reduced to one hour from the normal office hours.

Meanwhile, the decision to start work under such working hours depends on the jurisdiction of the respective ministries and departments.
