SMK Marudi champion of sports meet

MARUDI: The sports contingent of SMK Marudi emerged overall champion of the Baram District Inter-Secondary Schools sportsmeet after collecting 124 points.
SMK Dato Temenggong Oyong Lawai Jau, Long San had to settle for second place with 58 points at the two- day sports carnival held here which ended yesterday.
The team of SMK Telang Usan with 36 points occupied the last podium place followed closely behi nd by SMK Long Bedian Apoh, a newly commissioned secondary school with a majority of Penan students.
