2,000 flags to be distributed in first phase of campaign

KUCHING: Around 2,000 flags will be distributed to motorists in Kuching in the first phase of the Jalur Gemilang Campaign.
State Secretary Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohd Morshidi Abdul Ghani said the campaign, which began on July 17, was held with the objective of instilling patriotism amongst Malaysians.
“In conjunction with the upcoming Hari Merdeka celebration, the campaign will be carried out throughout the state from now until August,” he told reporters when launching the campaign at Wisma Bapa Malaysia here yesterday.
“We hope to see everyone show their patriotism and loyalty to Malaysia by flying the Jalur Gemilang.”
